Welcome to The Evolveprenuer Podcast Channel! John North interviews Liam Austin from Entrepreneurs HQ about how he grew his LinkedIn Group to over 130,000 members using the power of LinkedIn and Virtual Summits. He also grew his email list to over 68,000 subscribers.

Liam's passion for entrepreneurship began whilst at Macquarie University when he was tasked with growing strategic partnerships for one of the top tech startups in Sydney, Soulmates Technology. This foray into tech led me to begin building and running my own businesses online to varying degrees of success. For 4 successive years he juggled his study and business with being a professional football (soccer) player in Australia's national competition playing for Wollongong Wolves and Sydney United. Liam's unique and innovative business development and sales skills has taken him from Australia to Europe to America, and given me experience in leading a 70 year print publication into a national events program, launching its digital products, as well as driving an ASX listed company into new multi-million dollar revenue markets. Liam has been featured in multiple publications including BRW, The Australian, Inc, Startup Smart, Real Estate Business, Property Observer, and others. He was ranked in the top 5 startups at Sydstart 2014 and placed first at the "Skillsapien Pitch to Silicon Valley Series 2014" winning a trip to Silicon Valley. His startup has achieved phenomenal growth attracting involvement from leaders of GroupM and LJHooker, as well as support from Crown International, Colliers and Herron Todd White. As founder of Next For Sale, his focus on the strategic direction and growth of the business to change the way home owners market their property, connect with buyers and line up potential offers through effective pre-marketing.

His online small business community, Entrepreneurs HQ, is a passion of mine where I invite experts to cover key topics of interest to our audience of 100,000+ small business owners and entrepreneurs. I work with key partners to help promote the events, giving free value to audiences whilst partners benefit from exposure and revenue.
